Federación: Es la asociación, agrupación o pacto de individuos o grupos que guardan entre sí un cierto grado de interacción cultural, social, política o económica, y que se unen con la finalidad de obtener metas comunes y superiores que sólo juntos pueden alcanzar

Gestión pública: es un enfoque que utiliza técnicas gerenciales para incrementar la rentabilidad de los servicios públicos. Como puede apreciarse, no son términos sinónimos.

Public management: it is an approach that uses managerial techniques to increase the profitability of public services. As can be seen, they are not synonymous terms.

Marco institucional: conjunto de organismos, organizaciones, redes y acuerdos, de nivel internacional, regional, nacional y sub-nacional, que de una u otra forma participan en la definición e instrumentación de lineamientos y políticas orientados a la consecución de los objetivos establecidos en materia de desarrollo sostenible.

Institutional framework: set of bodies, organizations, networks and agreements, at the international, regional, national and sub-national level, which in one way or another participate in the definition and implementation of guidelines and policies aimed at achieving the objectives established in sustainable development matter.
